How would I even know it is me?
Nonenal is what your skin oils turn into as they oxidize, and it reads as a greasy, musty note. It creeps in around your 40s, once the skin’s own antioxidants start running low. Here is the trap: your own nose goes blind to it. Your nose adapts to it. Other people’s noses do not.
Why does one bar cost this much?

What is actually going on
This was never about being clean.
It comes down to one molecule: nonenal.
From your late thirties on, the fats sitting on your skin oxidise into a compound called nonenal. Nonenal is the part other people actually smell.
